Youth living in areas impacted by historic disinvestment are often taught from curriculums that lack representation of their authentic experiences and cultural narratives.

Youth Voices Rising partners with youth and young adults to hear their stories, amplify their voices, and assemble socially relevant curricular packages that are shared with a variety of educational settings. We impact youth by listening FIRST. 

We offer a variety of short stories, skits, poems, and plays designed by youth that can be heard audibly and/or watched visually. These real-world scenarios prompt deep reflection, musings, action planning, and galvanize youth interest in engaging in the advocacy needed to bring sustainable solutions  to the complex issues young people face daily.
